No. 9: 525
140 cases of vertebroarterial type cervical spondylosis were
randomly divided into acupuncture group and medication
group, which were treated with acupuncture and medicine
respectively. Result indicated that there was significant
difference in the cured and markedly effective rate (P< 0.01)
and there was no significant difference (p>0.05) in the total
effective rate between the two groups. Follow up the patients
in 10th and 18th month showed that the recurrence rate in the
acupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the
medication group (p<0.05).
it is suggested that acupuncture group on both short-term and
long-term therapeutic effects were superior to that of the
medication group respectively.
